CZFuy
The Chamber of Free Trade Zones of Uruguay was established in October 2008, with the vision of strengthening the regime of Uruguayan Free Trade Zones and to position as well Uruguay and its Free Trade Zones as a World Class localization option, for developing international business platforms. The business community that constitutes the Chamber of Free Trade Zones (CZFUY) is integrated by both developers and users (direct and indirect), which have defined and validated the following objectives for the chamber.
OBJECTIVES OF THE URUGUAYAN FREE ZONE CHAMBER (CZFUY) INCLUDE:
a) To develop, promote, defend and improve the Free Zone system in Uruguay.
b) To support the creation of a business environment that leads to investment and sustainable economic development within the Free Zone legal framework.
c) To participate in decision making processes that encompass the Free Zone system, while not adopting public positions or carrying out actions that would lead to conflicts among Free Zone users.
d) To maintain a program of continual communication between affiliates, society and government officials.
e) To facilitate the development of specialized research and information programs regarding Free Zones and other topics of interest in Uruguay and in other regions.
f) To promote the ethical principles and values of social responsibility while executing activities.
